Dublin man charged with Eamon Kelly murder

A 34-year-old man has appeared in the Special Criminal Court in Dublin charged with the murder of Eamon Kelly.

Mr Kelly was shot dead near his north Dublin home on Tuesday.

Sean Connolly, of Bernard Curtis House, Bluebell, Dublin, was also charged with membership of an illegal organisation and with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

He was remanded in custody to appear before the Special Criminal Court via video link on 20 December.
