School bus slides off icy road near Moneymore

Bus in ditch Road conditions were described as treacherous

A school bus carrying 28 children left the road in icy conditions in County Londonderry.

There were no reports of any injuries in the accident, which happened on the Knockadoo Road near Moneymore on Wednesday morning.

It is understood the children were from Lissan and Churchtown primary schools and Cookstown High School.

The police asked parents not to go to the scene because of the treacherous road conditions.
