Frances McKeown's widower to take legal action
The husband of a prisoner who took her own life is to take legal action after a report criticised the Prison Service and the South Eastern Health Trust.
The Prisoner Ombudsman has been looking into the death of Frances McKeown in Hydebank Wood Jail in May of last year.
She had suffered severe mental health problems for a number of years and had told prison staff and health workers she intended to kill herself.
