Woman killed in Desertmartin crash was Brenda Anne Kennedy

The woman who died in hospital on Saturday after being involved in a crash in County Londonderry was Brenda Anne Kennedy from Toomebridge.

The 35-year-old, from the Creagh Hill area of the village, was critically injured on Friday morning.

Ms Kennedy's car and a mini-bus collided on the Roshure Road in Desertmartin.

A number of school children were also hurt in the crash. The bus driver was treated at the scene for his injuries.

Ms Kennedy died in Antrim Area Hospital on Saturday afternoon.
