Toomebridge: Man, 21, dies in overnight car crash in County Antrim

A 21-year-old man has been killed in an overnight car crash in County Antrim.

A car and a lorry were in collision at the junction of the Moneynick Road and the M22 near Toomebridge shortly after 23:00 GMT on Wednesday.

No-one else was seriously injured in the crash.

The junction where the crash happened has now been reopened to traffic.

Police have appealed to anyone who was travelling on the Moneynick Road at the time and who may have witnessed the collision to contact them.
