Corporal Channing Day funeral hears emotional tributes
The funeral of Corporal Channing Day, who was killed last month in Afghanistan, took place on Thursday in Comber, County Down.
Around 1,000 mourners lined the streets as Corporal Day's colleagues carried her coffin, which was transferred to a carriage.
The funeral service was held at Comber First Presbyterian Church.
The soldier was shot while on patrol in Helmand Province.
