Northern Ireland gay adoption ruling challenged

A court in Northern Ireland has decided that gay and unmarried couples should be able to adopt children.

At present a single gay or lesbian person can adopt but a couple in a civil partnership cannot.

But Health Minister Edwin Pootsis said he would appeal the court's decision.
