Woman, 42, dies after house fire in Windmill Heights, Enniskillen
An investigation is under way to establish the cause of the fire
The 42-year woman who died after a house fire in Enniskillen has been named locally as Catherine Williamson.
Firefighters were called to her house at Windmill Heights just before 22:00 BST on Friday after a fire alarm went off and smoke was seen at a window.
Two neighbours rushed to the house with a ladder. However they were unable to help as the smoke was too thick.
Firefighters brought the woman out of a bedroom and rushed to hospital, but she was pronounced dead a short time later.
Mrs Williamson was a mother and grandmother.
The fire service has confirmed two fire alarms in the house were working. They are currently trying to establish how the fire started.
