A 23-year-old man is in a critical condition in hospital following a road crash in County Londonderry.

He was one of two men hurt in the single car collision which happened on the Draperstown Road near Tobermore at about 08:00 BST on Sunday.

Both men were taken to Antrim Area Hospital. A 21-year-old was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The 23-year has been transferred to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast. Police have appealed for witnesses.

Officers have asked anyone who witnesses the crash, or who saw the blue Honda Accord in the area at the time, to contact them.
