A 20-year-old man has been charged with an assault on a woman in Bangor.
The 24-year-old woman is being treated for head injuries following the assault in County Down.
It happened in Jubilee Court in Bangor shortly before 01:30 BST on Sunday.
The woman was taken to hospital where she is said to be in a stable condition.
The man is expected to appear in court in Newtonards.
Explosion was a 'viable pipe bomb'
A security alert in south Belfast on Friday night was a viable pipe bomb which had partially exploded, police say.
