Man questioned about dissident republican activity in north Belfast

A 21-year-old man has been arrested by police on suspicion of dissident republican activity.

He was arrested in north Belfast on Friday by detectives from the PSNI's serious crime branch.

The man has been taken to Antrim for questioning.

The arrest follows the discovery of a horizontal type mortar device in Jamaica Street in Ardoyne on Thursday.
