Post-mortem exam due on Sligo man

A post-mortem examination is to be carried out on the body of a 67-year-old man who died during an aggravated burglary in the Republic of Ireland.

He was found at his home on Old Market Street, Sligo, on Friday night.

He was taken to Sligo General Hospital where he died on Saturday night.

Irish police have appealed to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area between 21:00 BST on Wednesday and 21:00 BST on Friday, to contact them.
