Armed man robs Glengormley petrol station

A man armed with a gun has made off with cash and cigarettes after robbing a petrol station at Glengormley on the outskirts of north Belfast.

No-one was injured but staff were left shaken during the incident on the Antrim Road at 03:45 BST on Sunday.

A 20-year-old man arrested shortly afterwards is being questioned by police.

Detectives have appealed for anyone with information about the robbery to contact them.
