Detectives investigating the disappearance of Caroline Graham, who went missing from her home in Portadown in April 1989, have launched a murder inquiry.

Caroline was 19 and living with her boyfriend in Hanover Street at the time of her disappearance. She was originally from the Newry area.

It is understood she was living in the Portadown area for around two years before her disappearance.

Her body has never been found.

Police officers have carried out a number of extensive searches in the area surrounding Caroline's home in the years following her death.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland said detectives now had a number of new lines of inquiry.

They are appealing to anyone who may have any information about Caroline's disappearance to contact them on 0845 600 8000 or directly on 02890 700727 or 07585228283.

The public can also provide information without giving their details to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
