One injured during Newry shooting

Drumalane Park A shot was fired into the front room in Drumalane Park

One person escaped serious injury when a shot was fired into the front room of a house in Newry on Saturday.

Police said the victim suffered "very minor" injuries to his neck and arm during the shooting in Drumalane Park at about 23:15 BST.

They want to speak to the driver of a blue and silver Mitsubishi Jeep seen in the area at the time of the shooting.

Detectives also want to hear from anyone who noticed unusual activity in the area at the time of incident.
