At home in Coleraine with Olympic rower Alan Campbell
Training to be an Olympic athlete is tough and requires 24/7 commitment, and for Alan Campbell that even means training on Christmas Day.
The BBC caught up with Alan at home in Coleraine and joined him on an early morning training session.
Alan has said he will be listening to Christmas music before his final to remind him of the sacrifices he has made along the way.
Alan Campbell will row in the final of the single sculls at 12:30 BST.
