21-year-old man charged over paramilitary-style shooting

A 21-year-old man has been charged in connection with a paramilitary-style shooting which took place on outskirts of Belfast more than two years ago.

A 26-year-old man was shot in the thigh at Juniper Hill, Dunmurry in May 2010.

The suspect has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm and having a gun and ammunition with intent to endanger life.

He was also charged with possession of articles likely to be of use to terrorists.

He is expected to appear before Lisburn Magistrates Court on Tuesday morning.
