Woman, 32, faces Belfast armed robbery charges

A 32-year-old woman is due to appear in court charged with armed robbery.

It happened at a chemist shop on the Upper Newtownards Road in east Belfast on Saturday 28 July at about 15:15 BST.

No-one was injured in the robbery. But a woman was arrested shortly afterwards. She is facing charges connected to both the robbery and possession of firearms.

The woman is due to appeared before Belfast Magistrates Court on Monday.
