Craigantlet Quarry fuel theft - arrested man is released on bail

A man who had been arrested in connection with the theft of 25,000 litres of diesel in County Down has been released on bail.

The fuel was stolen from storage tanks at Craiganlet Quarry on Thursday.

An articulated lorry, believed to have been stolen in Donaghcloney and then used in the raid, was later found on the Blaris Road.

Police said the 30-year-old, who was detained on Friday, has been released pending further inquiries.
