Lorry used in diesel theft at Craigantlet Quarry found

A lorry used to steal up to 25,000 litres of diesel oil from storage tanks at a north Down quarry has been found in Lisburn.

The theft was reported to police by staff at Craigantlet Quarry shortly after 07:00 BST on Thursday.

The light blue 40ft articulated lorry, believed to have been stolen in Donaghcloney, was found on the Blaris Road in the early hours of Friday.

A 30-year-old man has been arrested.
