Girl critical after collision with van in Newry

A 12-year-old girl remains in a critical condition in hospital after she was hit by a van in Newry.

The collision happened on Finnegans Road, Jonesborough, around 13:15 BST on Sunday.

She was taken to Daisy Hill Hospital but was later moved to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.

Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
