A 33-year-old man has appeared in court in Enniskillen charged with murdering his brother.

Raymond Johnston, of Coleshill Park in the town, is accused of stabbing 32-year-old David Andrew Johnston.

The victim died in the early hours of 13 July at a house in the Florencecourt area of County Fermanagh.

Several members of the accused's family wept in the public gallery of Enniskillen Magistrates Court as he nodded to confirm the charges.

There was no application for bail. He was remanded in custody to appear again in four weeks.
