Long delays on Sydenham bypass due to flooding

Sydenham bypass Emergency crews from the Roads Service are trying to clear the bypass

Drivers have been advised to avoid the Sydenham bypass in east Belfast due to severe flooding.

The city bound lane of the bypass has been flooded between the Tillysburn junction and Dee Street.

There is also flooding at the M3 off-slip and there are long delays for traffic travelling in both directions.

Police have asked motorists to use an alternative route if possible.
