Two men, aged 23 and 24, plead guilty to gun charges

Two men have appeared in court in Belfast charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

The accused, aged 23 and 24, were among four people arrested in October 2010 when police stopped a vehicle in Cookstown.

Officers recovered guns and ammunition during the planned operation.

The pair pleaded guilty and were remanded in custody. The two other men are due to appear in court next week.
