Minister says she has 'heard enough'
The SDLP's Dominic Bradley interrupted NI Culture Minister Caral Ni Chuilin's address to the assembly regarding a proposed new funding model for promoting the Irish language.
Responding to Mr Bradley's interruption, Ms Ni Chuilin replied: "No I've heard enough Dominic, thanks very much and I've a lot to get through. I've heard enough from you."
The DUP's Jim Wells raised a point of order calling Ms Ni Chuilin's remarks "absolutely disgraceful".
"I would ask that she should consider her comments and withdraw them," he said.
Ms Ni Chuilin replied: "I've a lot to get through and Dominic, in fairness, has had several interventions from other members and at this stage I'm not prepared to take an intervention.
"And I'll certainly not be reminded about the manners or the courtesy of this house by someone like Jim Wells either."
