16-year-old seriously injured in Glengormley attack

A 16-year-old boy assaulted on the outskirts of north Belfast on Saturday is in a serious condition in hospital.

The teenager suffered head injuries during the attack which occurred at about 20:00 BST on the Antrim Road in Glengormley.

A 43-year-old man arrested in relation to the assault has been released pending further enquiries.

Police would like anyone with information to contact them.
