Police treat woman's body find as 'suspicious'

Police have confirmed they are treating the discovery of a woman's body in County Fermanagh as 'suspicious'.

Rosemary Collins, 55, was last seen on the Cornagrade Road in Enniskillen at about 20:15 BST on Saturday.

Her body was recovered from Lough Erne at Cherry Island more than five hours later.

Police said the death was "unexplained" and therefore would be treated as suspicious until the results of a post-mortem examination were available.

Ms Collins was wearing a grey jacket over a pink coloured hooded top. Police have asked anyone who may have seen someone of this description to contact them.

The public are being advised to avoid the area.

The Cornagrade Road from Factory Road and Derrin Road towards Enniskillen and from Johnston roundabout is currently closed.
