Homes evacuated in police operation against dissidents

A number of homes have been evacuated during a police operation in north Belfast.

Army technical officers have been sent to the area and residents have been moved from their houses in Ardglen Place.

A PSNI spokesperson said detectives were conducting number of searches in the area.

The searches are in connection with dissident republican terrorism.
