A man has been arrested after a collision between a van and a police car on the Grosvenor Road in Belfast.

The police were in pursuit of the van after two men were seen leaving the scene of a burglary in Moira in it.

The collision happened at about 04:15 GMT. The Police Ombudsman has been informed.

Two police officers were also injured in the incident, but they have since been released from hospital.

The Westlink northbound Grosvenor off-slip, coming from the M1, was closed but re-opened just after 08:30 GMT.
