Three in court charged with Lurgan murder of Andrew Lorimer

Three men have appeared at Lisburn Magistrates' Court charged with the murder of Andrew Lorimer in Lurgan.

Mr Lorimer, 43, was found dead at a flat in Portlec Place, in the Mourneview area of the town, last Sunday.

In court on Saturday were Christopher Wright, 20, and James Jordan, 18, both with addresses in Lurgan and Richard Chester, 21, of no fixed abode.

They were remanded in custody until 24 February.

Mr Wright's address was given as Mount Zion House, Lurgan.

Mr Jordan is a student from Princes Street in Lurgan.

On Friday night, PSNI detectives returned to the scene of the murder in an effort to identify potential witnesses and gather more information about what happened.
