Boy injured in Armagh city dog attack

A 13-year-old boy has been attacked and bitten in the legs by a pit-bull type dog in Armagh.

It happened on Lonsdale Road just before 19:00 GMT on Saturday evening. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

He added that police had also seized the dog involved in the incident.

A PSNI spokesperson said that a man had been arrested.
