Police investigate armed robbery at Keady bookmaker

Police are investigating an armed robbery at a bookmakers shop in Keady, County Armagh.

Two armed men entered the shop on the Mall at 20:00 GMT on Thursday and threatened a female member of staff.

The men then made off with a sum of money.

The member of staff was not injured but was left badly shaken following the incident. Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.

One of the men was 5ft 4in tall (1.62m), of medium build, in his mid 30s. He was wearing dark clothing, dark hat and a scarf covering his face.

The second man was described as tall, of thin build, and wearing dark clothing and a balaclava.
