North Belfast alert as device thrown at police

Police have come under attack in north Belfast.

A device was thrown at officers in the Oldpark Road area shortly before 22:00 GMT on Saturday.

Roads were cordoned off and army bomb experts were called to the scene.

The alert has now ended. The roads have reopened. It is believed that the device was a hoax.
