BBC Northern Ireland gears up for Children in Need
People across Northern Ireland have been raising money for this year's Children in Need which is taking place on Friday.
Sir Terry Wogan, Fearne Cotton, Tess Daly and Alesha Dixon will present this year's appeal from Television Centre in London on BBC One NI from 19:30 BST.
Gareth Malone will lead a 10-strong choir who will link up live with 3,000 children from all over the UK.
This will include 200 young people from NI under John Anderson's direction.
Viewers across Northern Ireland will hear stories from local children and young people who have been supported by the charity.
They will also see the "fun and unusual ways" in which people have been raising money to make a difference this year.
There will also be a short film charting the formation and rehearsals for the Children in Need choir in Northern Ireland.
A special programme from the night will be shown on Saturday on BBC One Northern Ireland from 17:40 GMT and will include highlights from events staged across the country.
The 75 minute programme will feature performances from The Celtic Tenors and the Children in Need choir, with plenty of familiar faces filmed earlier this week at a charity 'Celebrity Come Dancing' event outside Belfast, including BBC Sport Northern Ireland's Jackie Fullerton, Stephen Watson and Proms in the Park presenter, Claire McCollum.
Last year's BBC Children in Need total raised on the night in Northern Ireland was £568,919. The national total was £36m of which over £3m was spent in Northern Ireland to support 195 projects.
