Families moved in security alert in Enniskillen

About 25 homes were evacuated in Enniskillen after a suspicious object was discovered at the front door of a house.

The alert began at about 2300 BST on Thursday in the Loughview Drive area of the Kilmacormick estate.

After a controlled explosion was carried out, police said it had been a hoax.

People were allowed to return to their homes at about 0340 BST.
