Politicians ask questions over airport runway plans
The Northern Ireland Assembly's environment committee is to question government officials later about plans for George Best Belfast City Airport.
The proposed runway extension and opposition to it from local residents will be on the agenda.
A week ago, budget airline Ryanair announced it was pulling out of Belfast City Airport on 30 October.
The airline said it took the decision because a promised runway extension had not materialised after three years.
On Tuesday, Flybe announced it would fly to Bristol, East Midlands and Liverpool - three routes previously provided by Ryanair.
The company has also said it will locate two additional aircraft at the airport.
