Kirkby Overblow crash victim was Christopher Jennings

A 77-year-old cyclist who died after a crash involving a pedestrian has been named by police.

Christopher Jennings, from Rawdon, Leeds, was on Follifoot Lane, near Kirkby Overblow, North Yorkshire, when the crash happened on 13 August.

Mr Jennings was flown to hospital by air ambulance where he later died. An inquest is yet to be held, police said.

The pedestrian, a 72-year-old man from Harrogate, left hospital after treatment.
