Austwick lorry smash victim dies at scene

A man has died in a crash between a car and a lorry in North Yorkshire.

The victim was driving a Renault Clio south on the A65 road near Harden Bridge, Austwick, when he became involved in a head-on collision with the lorry.

The 40-year-old man from Derby, died at the scene.

North Yorkshire Police has just released details of the incident at 14:50 on Friday and are appealing for witnesses.
