Fabricated steel worth £100,000 has been stolen from an industrial estate in North Yorkshire.

North Yorkshire Police said a HGV tractor unit must have been used in order to move the large trailer in which the steel was stored.

Officers said the trailer did not have any registration plates attached.

The theft took place at Sherburn in Elmet industrial estate, near Selby, some time between Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 November.
