A motorcyclist who was killed when she crashed as she overtook a tractor on a North Yorkshire road has been named.

Gail Richards, 42, from Bingley, West Yorkshire, died on the B6479, on Saturday.

She was riding towards Horton-in-Ribblesdale when the crash happened and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police want to trace the rider of a black Suzuki motorbike, who overtook the tractor just before Ms Richards.

An inquest into Ms Richards' death is expected to be opened and adjourned on 30 May.
