York man and boy, 16, deny David Wright murder charge

A man and a 16-year-old boy have appeared in court charged with the murder of a 50-year-old man in York.

David Keith Wright was attacked on Acomb Road, York, on 21 January and died later in hospital.

Liam Wyard, 20, of Acomb Road, and the boy, both from York, appeared at Leeds Crown Court charged with Mr Wright's murder.

They pleaded not guilty and were remanded in custody to appear at the same court for trial on 12 August.
