North York Moors body named as walker Barbara Colling
A body found on the North York Moors is that of a woman who went missing more than two weeks ago, police have confirmed.
Barbara Colling, 68, of Helmsley, was last seen walking on the B1257 at Newgate Bank, on 28 January.
A member of the public found her body on nearby Hawnby Moor on Wednesday, a North Yorkshire Police spokesman said.
The spokesman said Mrs Colling's inquest was expected to be opened and adjourned early next week.
