Troops return from Afghanistan

Dozens of soldiers have been greeted by family and friends as they returned to their base at Catterick, North Yorkshire in time for Christmas.

The troops from Burma Company of 1st Battalion The Duke of Lancaster's Regiment (1 LANCS) were the first to return from Helmand Province as part of the Government's decision to withdraw 500 soldiers from Afghanistan.
