Whitby kipper business under threat as churchyard crumbles

A kipper smokehouse in Whitby is under threat after a cliffside subsided.

The business, which is 140-years-old, may have to move after the churchyard on the clifftop crumbled.

On Saturday demolition work started on five houses in the town because heavy rain caused the ground to slip away.
