Body found in search for missing Harrogate man Graham Roskell

Officers searching for a missing man in North Yorkshire have found a body in woodland.

The body was found in an area off York Road in the Wetherby area on Wednesday morning.

Graham Roskell, 65, was unwell when he went missing from the Harrogate area 11 days ago, police said.

North Yorkshire Police said specially-trained officers had spoken to Mr Roskell's family "at this extremely difficult time".

Formal identification of the body is expected to take place later.

Supt Aubrey Smith, of North Yorkshire Police, said: "My thoughts and indeed those of everyone at North Yorkshire Police are with Mr Roskell's family and friends at this extremely difficult time.

"The past 11 days have been very traumatic for them."
