Three boys have been arrested in connection with a serious sexual assault on a girl in a York park.
North Yorkshire Police said the teenage girl, aged under 16, was attacked some time between 15:30 and 16:00 BST on Sunday.
Part of Rowntree Park was cordoned off while crime scene investigators examined the scene.
Three boys, one aged 17 and two aged 15, were arrested on Sunday and taken into police custody for questioning.
