Gordon Simm, 63, missing after hike in Spain

A search is under way for a 63-year-old North Yorkshire man who disappeared while hiking in Spain.

Gordon Simm, from Kirkbymoorside, was reported missing by his wife on Sunday when he failed to return to their hotel after a walk in the Rio Chillar gorge in Nerja near Malaga.

Spanish Police are involved in a search for Mr Simm, who is described as an experienced walker.

Consular assistance is being provided by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
