Great Yorkshire Show cancelled due to mud

Bill Cowling, the director of the Great Yorkshire Show has explained why the Great Yorkshire Show had to be cancelled after one day.

Mr Cowling said it was the first time the Harrogate show had been stopped by the weather but the car parks were "trashed".

Last year more than 135,000 visitors attended the three-day show.
