A man has died after apparently using an inflatable dinghy on a North Yorkshire river, police have said.
The 35-year-old man was reported missing from home at Brompton-on-Swale at about 04:50 BST on Saturday.
A search was launched downstream from the man's home involving police, a mountain rescue team and the West Yorkshire Police helicopter.
A body, believed to be that of the missing man, was found at about 09:00 BST on the bank of the River Swale.
The inflatable yellow dinghy thought to have been used by the dead man has still not been found, North Yorkshire Police said.
