The Maundy Queen arrives in York

The Queen has been in York to hand out Maundy money at a service in York Minster.

She entered the walled city through the 12th Century gateway Micklegate Bar.

This year 86 women and 86 men - one for each of the Queen's 86 years - received the Maundy money in recognition of their services to the Church and their communities.
